Before I moved down to New Orleans I asked someone to sum it up for me as far as weather and clothing was concerned..... the response I got back: "It's just swampy." Welllllll, there's actually a lot more to this place than swamps but given the majority of the city is below sea level, it does flood rather often... And I guess my lovely Joules rep knew that because she nailed it with these Evedon wellies. As it was raining cats and dogs outside today, we get a knock on the door at the office.....next thing I know our intern is bringing a big box wrapped in pretty yellow floral paper to my desk and I opened it to find these beauties courtesy of Joules.com. The best part? See the pink grosgrain ribbon? It's interchangeable… So you can lace these bad boys up with anything you'd like… So now I have to figure out how to tell husband that one of those drawers in the dresser.... yeah, I'm going to need you to let me put all my rain boot ribbons in there..........
I don't want to give away too much because I'll be styling these bad boys soon for a little blog post coming up but I did stomp around in them after work and they're pretty darn incredible! A huge thank you to the Joules team and I cannot wait to play all around New Orleans in these little guys.
PS. They are available online and just so happened to be on sale! ;)

Lucky girl! Those boots are AMAZING. LOL - I remember the last time I was in New Orleans - it was July, and about 100 degrees with 100% humidity. Swampy indeed! Stay cool and try!
